Program
Strides Multi-Sport is an environment that promotes the overall competence, confidence, and knowledge of sports to female athletes between the ages of 6-12.
We will work on the skills necessary to participate recreationally and competitively in various sports namely: basketball, volleyball, soccer, and badminton.
Our objective is to create a safe and fun space conducive to the growth and development of young female athletes looking to pursue sports in their junior high years.
Program Details
8 total sessions over the months of May - June. Participants will be split into 2 categories according to age. All sessions will be at the same location (St. Rose Junior High School - 8815 145 St).

Program Lead

Alysia Zvonkovic
Growing up as a multi-sport athlete, Alysia has years of playing and coaching experience to bring to Strides Multi-Sport. She currently is Volleyball Canada Level 2 trained, and has 5 years of volleyball coaching experience, and 6 years of basketball coaching experience between various local club and school programs. Currently, Alysia works as a high school teacher in Edmonton, Alberta.
Alysia has worked with a wide range of players of different skill levels and abilities all the way from U6/U10 Jr. NBA programs through GOOD Hoops, to currently coaching with FOG Volleyball Club where she coaches U18 girls volleyball. She is excited to share her love of sports, and help young players to explore new areas of athletics to help them become more confident and well-rounded athletes.
